WHAT WE DO
CiRCO Redempto’s “CiRCO Summer” invites Nosu children from the poorest households to participate in an engaging educational and artistic opportunity by providing instruction in the performing arts, the fine arts, language and public health.
Future Family Fund
Designed to further facilitate educational, economic and spiritual opportunities for Nosu children, this carefully supervised program enables a Nosu child in China to complete another year of school, something that would not be possible without outside assistance.
Pronounced “she,” the Chinese character “xi” (戏) refers to theatre. After over a decade of training, CiRCO students now develop indigenous drama, celebrating their culture while challenging the status quo (pervasive alcoholism, HIV/AIDS, lack of education for women, etc.). These xi tour to remote villages, providing vital messages within a spirit of play.
